Tune in Tomorrow

Published on 7 June 2026 at 16:48

Tomorrow should have been the arbitration hearing. Of course, {D} cancelled it for a family emergency that he apparently knew about months in advance. How that qualifies as an emergency, I will never know. But hey, we lost the arbitrator anyway, and now we have a preliminary arbitration meeting on Wednesday instead.

That unexpectedly freed up my Monday.

Now, I am absolutely terrible at keeping secrets. If something is happening, I usually tell everyone immediately. I get excited, I talk too much, and I have the self-restraint of a four-year-old who just learned something interesting.

But this time I’ve kept it close to the vest. Inner circle only.

Part of that is because I’ve learned that sometimes it is better to let things develop before talking about them. Part of it is because there are people who seem to take an active interest in anything I do, and I’d rather not give anyone an opportunity to get out in front of whatever tomorrow may or may not bring.

I’ve spent a lot of time over the last year pulling records, asking questions, following leads, and talking to people. And I have met some great people through social media. They have become my rag-tag team of crusaders. And they have put in the effort for me because they believe in what's right. They see it and they have chosen to fight along side me. Most of that work is invisible. People tend to see the finished product and not the months of effort that came before it.

Tomorrow is one of those days where some of that work may become visible.

Or maybe not.

Maybe nothing happens.

Maybe something happens.

Maybe some people have a much more stressful Monday than they were expecting.

I honestly don’t know.

What I do know is that a lot of work has gone into tomorrow. A lot of conversations. A lot of research. A lot of people helping behind the scenes. Whether any of it leads anywhere remains to be seen.

All I can do is show up and see what happens.

Either way, by the end of the day, I’ll know something I don’t know right now.

i'll be posting tomorrow morning. Keep up with me. You might see some systemic change happening in real time.
