A woman provided video evidence of her rape by a Nevada state official. Instead of prosecuting him, Nevada quietly forced his resignation, gave him a neutral reference, and buried the case.

The Story

The Micro Version of the Story

This case begins with trust, betrayal, and proof. It is the story of a survivor who did everything — reported, documented, handed over irrefutable evidence — only to watch Nevada’s institutions bury the truth to protect one of their own.

In February 2024, I planned what was supposed to be a consensual sexual encounter with my boyfriend, {M}, and my longtime friend {D}, a Nevada state official. Instead, it became a violent sexual assault. The encounter was recorded on video — not as evidence, but because it was part of what we thought would be a shared experience. That footage shows me screaming “no,” begging for it to stop, and being ignored.

I tried to escape, but {D} held me down, forcing his hand inside me while telling me to “shut up.” Neither {M} nor {R}, a friend present, intervened. At the time, I doubted myself — was it really as bad as it felt? Months later, watching the video again, I confirmed: it was exactly what I feared. It was rape.

The Institutional Response

In July 2024, I submitted a formal complaint to the Nevada Division of Insurance, where {D} was employed. I sent the videos, along with written testimony. Instead of being treated as evidence of a crime, the videos were described by state officials as “pornographic” and “disturbing.”

{D} was quietly asked to resign. He was escorted out of the building by Capitol Police — not in handcuffs, but with his reputation intact. He was given a neutral reference, allowing him to secure another government job. I was told he was being arrested. He wasn’t.

The Clark County District Attorney, Steve Wolfson, refused to prosecute and said the Attorney General had to do it, despite the video evidence. He told me privately he could prosecute men who rape prostitutes, but implied that because I had been in a relationship with {D}, my case didn’t qualify. The Attorney General, Aaron Ford, inherited the case and refused to act.

Internal memos show my complaint was altered. The evidence was passed between offices, but never pursued. My assault — visible on video — became an administrative problem for the state, not a crime against me.

The Fight Forward

Since then, I have filed complaints with federal agencies including the DOJ, FBI, and the Office for Victims of Crime. I have submitted public records requests, many of which have been denied. I have launched civil suits — against {D}, and against Nevada.

I built this site to tell the full story myself, in my own words. This is not just about one night. It’s about how Nevada covered for one of its own, how evidence was buried, and how systems of power shield themselves from accountability.

The Cast of Fool in this Fucked Up Incident

  • {D} – Former Nevada Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Consumer Affairs. Later briefly employed as an Assistant Attorney General in Vermont. Central perpetrator of the February 2024 assault, recorded on video. {D} was the first man I let myself trust after years of violence in marriage — and he weaponized that trust against me.
  • {M} – A man I had only been on a few dates with. On what was supposed to be our third date, he joined {D} in raping me. He was the one holding the phone, recording while I begged them to stop.
  • {R} – I knew {R} for ten years. He was the one who introduced me to {M}. That night, he sat silently in the room, doing nothing as I screamed. A decade of knowing me, and when it mattered most, he chose silence.
  • {S} – I've known {S} for seven years in an on-again off-again relationship. For much of that time he was {D}’s romantic rival, circling in the same orbit. Another thread in the same web of rivalry, betrayal, and silence. Also referred to as "some high school dropout card dealer from fucking Jersey."
  • Brian 1 – My first husband, the father of my children. For fifteen years he beat me, terrorized me, and tried to erase me with fists and fear. Escaping him was survival.
  • Brian 2 – My second husband. For three years of marriage he was sexually abusive, reducing intimacy to coercion. Leaving him was another escape — but it left me scarred and vulnerable.
  • Steve Wolfson – Clark County District Attorney. Declined charges and said the AG had to do it. Had a meeting with me and his henchmen Guido the Enforcer and Doe Eyes McGee. Looked at a woman with video evidence of her own rape and basically called me a whore. Said he could prosecute men who raped prostitutes — but not my case, not me.
  • Aaron Ford – Nevada Attorney General. General Asshole. Gubernatorial candidate for Nevada Took the case after Wolfson. Ignored every single email, phone call, complaint, and social media mention. Treats me like I didn’t exist. Now has the counterterrorism unit surveilling me, but still has not spoken to me about my case nor has anyone in his office.
  • Nevada Division of Insurance (DOI) – Employer of {D}. Received my complaint and my videos, called them “pornographic,” and let him resign quietly with a neutral reference. Protected the state, not me. Called {D} "Esteemed" on social media before blocking me, violating my First Amendment rights
  • Nevada State Police/Capitol Police (NSP) – Escorted {D} out of DOI like a man clocking out for the day. No arrest. No accountability. Accidentally told me he was being arrested.
  • Governor’s Office of Nevada – Sat on my July 2024 complaint. Did nothing. Pretended they never saw it. Received an Administrative Synopsis from the Chief of the Nevada State Police Investigations Division stating that it would look bad for the Governor if this went public. That Chief was then promoted to head of the Highway Patrol, which I am certain is as unrelated as the ticket I got from the Highway Patrol.
