Ain’t Public Records a Bitch Part II El Niño Piro

Oh dear. What have I done now?

  1. My Aaron Ford Showdown? First, let’s be clear: they have not attempted to contact me at all. I’m checking, and I reached out to them. I am posting it everywhere. It has hundreds of views.
  2. In doing that, I caught the attention of some people, and if you don’t live in Nevada, you might not understand this, but I think I’m a Flippo ad. At least I’ve seen one. Oh dear, that is a hot seat and could affect national politics. Apparently, the Democratic candidate was Ford’s chief of staff during the last couple of years. She would have certainly known. So I am not going to feel bad about it.
  3. The AG has shifted things around in the Public Records Task Force agendas. My comments were deleted on the YouTube link, but there is a link with the real comments on a legislative unknown backlink. That satisfies OML for my comments. They said you have to submit your comments one business day before in order to have the written comments attached in the minutes. I am not about to let them prescreen my statements. I have quoted OML, statute, and case law on it and told them I will need a reason and a legal argument for keeping my written statements out of the minutes. Yes, the Attorney General of the state of Nevada is trying to prevent public records of the Public Records Task Force from being public record.

I already had something written for Tuesday. I need to address this so they don’t approve the minutes.

Also, and this is just fucking petty on their part: I had recommended an ombudsman in my first proposal. A couple others did as well. But they were being assclowns—I think it was the July meeting—and they said someone had suggested an ombudsman but couldn’t remember who. In my comments at the end, just to be a bitch, I said, “I’m so glad everyone seems to be getting behind my idea of an ombudsman.”

The ombudsman is the piece of this that will go through to the Legislature with a majority. Everything else, the vote will be 5–5. They can’t agree on anything.

So last time, Steve Sebulius from Channel 13 was there for most of the session. He ran a story that night. The last sentence is that the ombudsman was the reason the task force was created, just to create that position. That was the original purpose of it.

Okay, I claimed ownership of the ombudsman back in July. You know what the minutes say from the October meeting that was covered by that news story? It says I claimed it was my idea. So I get to look inaccurate and stupid. Oh, stupid girl didn’t know because they made that shit up, but goddamnit, it is a fucking predated primary source. Now I look stupid when I said it the meeting before it was brought up as an idea for the task force to discuss.

So pissed about that. Nino-Piro is a super mega cunt. Fuck you, Leslie. I have your ass on the case law from the Ninth Circuit, so you’ll have to put my written comments in.

Oh, and there is a new disclaimer on the YouTube/excluding-me version of the fucking video saying that they can’t be used for political ads.

Hmmm. I need a lawyer, and I have a great idea. I just need a fucking lawyer.

These people suck. I’m not standing down from this shit. I will fucking be involved, loudly telling my story to the Legislature and those drafting the bill. I can’t let them do this.

Their office made a charging decision. One would assume that wasn’t just a guess; there was an educated reason for that. I just want that reason. If the AG’s office lacks the integrity to clearly articulate the logic PER THE MOTHERFUCKING NEVADA STATE CONSTITUTION and stand behind that decision? That needs to be known because that lack of integrity, accountability, and transparency will be haunting our governor’s mansion for four goddamn years. It is Ford himself, as the elected head, whose integrity is in question here.

What could possibly be so fucking bad to tell me that tormenting me and making me get creative in ways that could backfire two days before early voting?

Seriously, what the actual fuck happened? Why did they fire the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners? Why? What the actual fuck is going on here? This IS a transparency in public records issue. This is the fucking test case here, and they are orchestrating it against me? Of all fucking people? Bro, the fuck I’m gonna do? For real.

This has never made sense and continues to not fucking make sense in ways more and more bizarre.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: ain’t public records a bitch.
