So the public records task force was a shit show today.
I asked them not to approve the minutes. They weren’t accurate about my comments. Nino Piro offered a correction, but it didn’t address everything. They didn’t fix the video—not that it really matters at this point. My proposals were still missing.
Lipman, on the transparency side, seconded approving them. Fuck you. I literally gasped. I figured it would be Walker or Christian. I couldn’t believe it, and then they all said aye. Well, so much for the record. So much for my voice fucking mattering.
I played the video. I ripped Christian to shreds for that shit last time.
I thought I might have been making a difference, but I left feeling like it didn’t matter. I told them to come talk to me. Then they recessed for lunch, and I sat there until everyone left the fucking room. I was all alone. I went home and listened to the rest of it, and it was a fucking mess.
They agreed on nothing. They’re turning in two proposals. The government survey was a fucking joke. They got 91 responses, but five were from them, and there weren’t names attached. They’re like, “We worked hard on this.” Then you shouldn’t have fucked it up, guys. What the fuck were they thinking? Because the way they were sneaky and trying to make sure they could skew the numbers and get what they wanted in there. 91 respondents They were 5 of them. All of it anonymously done. You did a government survey and you're not even putting the government agency they are with in the data? No, honey that is not how that should work.
And she kept saying it was the same as public comments. The fuck it is, kiddos. The fuck it is.
Meanwhile, I’m literally sitting here with the test case for transparency. Why is it easier to erase me than it is to fucking answer me? I mean, am I just paranoid? I keep questioning myself, but the fact remains that no one answers a fucking thing I ask. And I’m not asking a complicated question here: What was the basis for your charging decision? Stand behind your fucking decision and answer me so I can move the fuck on and fight whatever the reason is.
That’s step one. What is the reason? Whether it’s systemic issues or rape culture or whatever, just tell me the goddamn reason so I can do something about it. That’s it.
I said it in my comment. This is getting more concerning and more bizarre because I am fucking with them hard at this point. I have made myself difficult to ignore. People have to be asking questions. I don’t sound like a lunatic. Well, today I might have been a touch hyperbolic, but Jesus fucking Christ. Institutional betrayal much, motherfuckers?
Anyways, it went much as I predicted. There also seems to be some case that Christian and McCarty are on opposing sides of, because they appeared to be fucking with each other. I’d love to know what’s happening there. Christian said something about a hypothetical case involving children locked in kennels by their parents, and McCarty got pissed. I might have to do some research on that one.
If I had it to do all over again, I would have volunteered to fucking help put the shit together. They kept complaining about not having staff.
Then the rando elected official came out of the sky and started tearing apart the transparency side for being ungrateful for the government’s work. Well, you know fucking what? If the government had been—I don’t know, what’s a good word for it? Oh, yeah, TRANSPARENT about what they were doing, guess what? The transparency side might have trusted them.
As far as I’m concerned, the failure of that task force falls on Nino Piro. She is the one I watched gang up and play politics. You can watch the whole thing unfold. Slippery snake in the grass. I don’t just say that because I dislike her with a passion. I’m saying it because of what I watched happen.
