In line to vote

Well, I’m standing in line to vote. Two-hour wait. I wish I had brought a drink with me and not worn such a heavy sweater. I am sweating. It is so fucking hot in here, and my back hurts so badly. I wasn’t expecting this long of a line.

I was having trouble getting out of the house. It’s just been a really rough fucking day. I received an email from a journalist I spoke to two years ago with a link to some documents. I’m like, it’s Election Day. Why would this dude be emailing me? He is super busy. I still had his number in my phone, so I texted him.

I asked about the email, and he said his email had been hacked. That struck a chord of fear in me. I texted him back and sent some Scribd links and told him to be careful. He didn’t text back.

The weird thing was that someone from his office was at the last Public Records Task Force meetings and asked me to type my name into his phone. I didn’t get a name, but I think I know who it is. Should that give me hope?

I started thinking about everything, and there is no fucking way Aaron Ford doesn’t retaliate, and I’m a little scared.

Wolfson was creeping on my Facebook page. That was last week, the night before the article came out about his beef with Ford. It was written by the guy I can email and have a positive Wolfson story run. He is Wolfson’s bitch. So I emailed him today with some updates. I also told him to tell Lipman from the Public Records Task Force to go fuck himself. Then I said this:

So, I’ve pissed off the entire Vegas Illuminati at this point?

Someone has to tell me why they are covering for this rapist piece of shit. Why I’ve been used as a pawn between Lombardo and Ford. I just would love to know what the fuck they are afraid of.

You know Ford has had me under investigation in his office? Counterterrorism. I was an “indirect” threat. I said I was going to attend campaign events. It’s such a clear First Amendment violation. All of my devices were hacked, and things were disappearing. It started happening the day after my first public comment. I’ve been deleted from the videos of Public Records Task Force meetings. They’re refusing to put my comments in. I literally had to wrestle with my mouse to get this uploaded into Odyssey.

I had to do it twice because somehow the signature got left off the first time.

So, Noble, I gotta ask: This is a matter of right and wrong, constitutionally protected speech, and just the general ethics of the elected officials in Nevada. Whose side are you on exactly?

Burning bridges. It’s how I roll.

But no, I’ve pissed off the Las Vegas Illuminati. I don’t believe they are the “Illuminati,” don’t get me wrong. I mean that sarcastically. Just the elite and elected and the powerful.

They don’t like me. I’m disturbing the force in some way, shape, or form for them. But I have been a pawn. They did not send me that administrative synopsis by accident. That’s bullshit.

Wolfson literally looked at me and said, “So why are you talking to us?” in that meeting. I had to inform him they made the charging decision. The three of them just looked at each other.

Every cop involved in my case has been promoted except for one. The one who wrote the warrant. The one who was dealing with me. The one I was getting information from.

The one who assured me they believed me and told me they were going to help me.

That guy.

He didn’t get promoted. He is also the only one I haven’t been in contact with, and Halligan was upset because I hit Reply All on an email I was sending to him that he had never responded to. He was upset I sent it to the detective. Why?

I’ve seen the other detective. He is a sergeant now. He was there for the interview about the hacking with the FBI guy.

I don’t know. There is too much weird. They are trying too hard to shut me up. And what the fuck did they fire everyone at DOI over?

Like, this is a shitstorm they are trying to clean up, and I’m not letting them clean it up. I just keep stirring the shit.

I don’t know. Maybe I should give up. Maybe I shouldn’t. This election is so important. Fucking Lombardo just assumed he would win.

I keep getting the greater good argument from people. It’s better for Nevada that a Democrat wins. Vote blue no matter who. But I put this in front of NVDems. They were told my stories, and more than a year ago I asked them to put their weight behind someone else because Ford’s treatment of a rape victim was uncontainable and he didn’t support women in practice. I sent them everything.

Like, you’re the fucking liberals. You’re our party, for fuck’s sake.

Greatest good, my ass. If they have done this to me, they will do it to others. We’re just the loud one-offs.

Oh, and one more thing that finally just dawned on me: the public records I received from NSP.

They didn’t redact my name.

They redacted his, but not mine. Now, they asked me about that, but here is how this went.

It was taking forever to get those records. I frankly wasn’t expecting everything I got. I had just asked for a police report. Just a report for my records, right? I was expecting maybe a few pages. The investigation lasted all of a week. I’m the only one who was interviewed. Like, they did nothing with the case, so why would there be much to the report?

So I am impatient, and I ask the guy what is taking so long. He says they have to redact it. And I was like, “Well, why is that taking so long?” Again, I’m thinking it’s just a police report of a few pages. He says, “There is a lot to redact.”

Okay, then.

So it gets to the day they have told me, having pushed the date back repeatedly for months, and I get an email. They say they redacted it except for my information. He then asks if I want to keep waiting so they can redact me out or if I want it now.

I said I wanted it now.

So my choice. However, in learning the actual statute and case law of NPRA, my name is the first fucking thing that should have come off those documents. That is a given. You always have to redact the victim’s name.

Additionally, in sitting in these meetings and listening to them ask questions about how they do it and what kind of process it is, the sequence doesn’t make sense.

My name is next to his name on all of these documents. Suspect name: … Victim name…

Why would you go through a document and redact only the suspect’s name and not redact the victim’s name at the same time? And again, with the knowledge that the law is incredibly clear that the victim is always redacted?

It doesn’t make sense at all.

But why? Was that done intentionally so I wouldn’t share the information because rape victims are always anonymous? Were they actively trying to keep me from making those public?

I don’t know the answer.

Nothing in this case was done following any kind of protocol. None of it. I can’t figure out why. This wasn’t a big deal. It was, but it wasn’t. Minor embarrassment if they arrested him and charged him, but the state would have done the right thing and no one would have complained.

But the cover-up of a rape by a state official and the surveillance of and silencing of the incredibly outspoken victim? Like, I’m unpredictable. They never know what kind of shit I’m going to pull next. What public hearing I’m going to pop into on Zoom. Who I’m going to talk to. What new piece of information I’m going to try to play gotcha with.

I know the fact that I am well-spoken and give clear, articulate arguments in public is a bit of a problem for them. As well as the fact that I cite my sources. They don’t want me to look normal and not like a blue-haired freak with a nose ring and face tattoos. I’m normal and matronly and precise in my words and prepared with my comments.

I’m not rambling off the cuff. I’m prepared and logical, and I give good suggestions and write sample legislative language. They hate that shit. They never put it in the record.

I’ve done a lot of it. They plan to remove me completely from the record that goes to the legislature. That’s why the records they did put in have Dave’s name on them. Those are the only records they put in. They are going to remove them and me. I’ll just be an incorrect and sanitized minor note in the minutes with an asterisk next to it saying my statements are unverified and the task force never discussed them.

I get disappeared. As usual.

I just don’t exist.

Finally made it up to vote. I suppose I will learn my fate soon.
