Wow what an interesting goddamned day it has been thus far. I got my FOIA from the Governor's Office and the Department of Human Resources. I am putting some of it here as redacted by the state. I will repeat this is how it was presented to me through a public records request. This is easily obtainable public record (if you are not me, I had to file in court for it). There are some redactions that are unexpectedly not there namely the name of the accused as well as THE FUCKING VIDEO ITSELF. Yeah, the sent out the video in a public records request. PUBLIC RECORDS, you know the public kind? Not the "indirect" kind but the public kind and it gets more interesting from there...
So there were 4 FOIA Fairies, much like 4 horseman of the apocalypse, Governor's office, Attorney General's office, Division of Insurance and Department of Human Resources. I filed in court for the first three but not DHR because they weren't going to give me anything any ways because HR law exists, so why file?
DHR surprised me and sent me the separation agreement. Standard legal document approved by Aaron Ford that {D} signed with a pen I gave him. Blue ultra fine point Parker Jotter (I am a pen snob). He got leave paid out, doesn't say anything about his sick leave, but I don't know the law on that. He isn't supposed to disparage yada yada yada. Like I said standard faire. Last day was August 3rd 2024. Oh and they only retracted the signatures not the name of the employee. Oh well.
GOV was the first to reach out and apologize for the accidentally slip up because there was turn over and the person who started it didn't finish it. They sent me an email today saying they were sending me everything except the the Administrative Synopsis because HR laws. Well they sent that along with the goddamned video. The video is now officially public record from the State of Nevada. I was told that the video would never be released by the state, but it's not illegal for cops to lie, right? Though I will argue that is some revenge porn it is clearly me clearly nude clearly being violated by the Deputy Insurance Commissioner. As is the synopsis, which {D}, seriously I would sue if I were you, just saying. I am currently interviewing lawyers myself, but I know you could use the money and I can take it from you in the civil case too. Win-win But that synopsis says first of all the acts were immoral and would discredit DOI and the Governor, should it be publicized. This is the second time I have The chief of the NSP Investigation division worring about optics over victims and I don't even have all the paper work yet. Disturbing and pornographic are descripters used, but allegedly illegal and immoral.
In other news, DOI told me today that I will receive records by August 15th. They told me to reach out or call if I had questions or had more information to offer. What the fuck was that about? I emailed back and let them know I would tell them anything they wanted to know.
I also found out that the State of Nevada does not keep track of who is where. {D} was on and interagency council and according the emails they were not notified he was no longer there and didn't really realize it until April of this year, approximately the same time {D} was being terminated from the Vermont AG. SO Nevada was 2 terminations behind the times. If he was so embarrassing to the state why didn't they scrub him from the system? I literally told people when I sent the redacted police report for the disbarment they could verify it was his job title from the DOI website because they didn't take him off the website. He is off now that fo snizzle.
