All Dogs Go To Heaven

I actually had a fun whole time last night. It was Alice Cooper and Criss Angel. The acoustics in that theater were shit, and they made us lock up our phones. I normally don’t go to shows where they do that shit. I’m looking at you, Glenn Danzig.

Alice Cooper was awesome. He came out into the audience when he was singing “Only Women Bleed.” He was like 10 feet away from me. I almost jumped. Thought better of it. But super memorable. Then they cut a woman in half with a giant saw.

Criss Angel was basically like Alice Cooper’s little brother on the spectrum that he let come on stage with him. There’s really nothing more to say about that.

I think everyone is back and no one is dead, but I have no real confirmation of that. I am still watching for one other thing.

But I really had a nice evening. And we went to dinner afterwards at Gordon Ramsay’s. It was like a really, really nice date. He even picked me up and dropped me off at home with a goodnight kiss.

A true gentleman.

Unfortunately, we did lose a little pup soul this weekend.

LawyerBoy had driven to Montana for a funeral. He boarded his poodle while he was gone.

She had seizure issues for a time. I used to be listed as Mrs. LawyerBoy at the vet. We were in and out so often when we first started dating, and I would take her or at least pick her up for him.

Well, she had a seizure, and it turned into multi-system failure. Her kidneys shut down.

I told him just to fly home and I’d fly to Montana and drive the car back, but it was too late. He had to do it.

He was on the phone with her. The couple he dates were with her as well. She was loved to the end.

She was only 4.

I feel horrible. That drive must have been hell for him. Like, that was his child. He doesn’t have kids. That was his baby.

He’s reading messages but not responding today. I told him yesterday I wanted to see him today, but he said he wanted to be alone. I think tomorrow is Memorial Day. Maybe I can check on him then.
