So here’s a fun little update from the State of Nevada: apparently I’m a terrorist now.
No, seriously. The Attorney General’s office—the same one that refused to charge my rapist despite video evidence—had a counter terrorism task force investigate me. Why? Because of “indirect threats.” You know, the kind of threats that aren’t actually threats. The kind where a woman says, “I’m not backing down,” or “I’m coming for justice,” or “I won’t be silenced.” That kind.
Let’s call it what it is: retaliation. Because I spoke out. Because I named names. Because I filed complaints. Because I said, “this man raped me and I have proof”—and instead of investigating him, they investigated me. I was more likely to end up in handcuffs than my rapist let that sink in
That’s how deep this cover-up runs.
They’re not even pretending anymore. They didn’t send a social worker. They didn’t send a civil rights rep. They sent a terrorism unit. Let that sink in. A sexual assault survivor who reported a crime, submitted evidence, begged for justice—and their response was “monitor her.” Treat her like a threat. A national security concern. All because I embarrassed the wrong men in suits.
You want to talk about chilling effects? This is how the system teaches women to shut up. This is how they silence victims—by flipping the script and turning us into the problem. By surveilling us instead of protecting us.
So here’s my response: Fuck you. I will not shut up. I will not back down. You want to call me a threat? Fine. Then let me be very clear about what I’m threatening:
I’m threatening your comfort.
I’m threatening your impunity.
I’m threatening the fantasy that the State of Nevada gives a damn about justice.
Because I’m not going away. I’m not deleting the videos. I’m not retracting the truth. If anything, I’m just getting started.
Keep watching. I know you are.
